Directions to St George's Sports Centre
Location and parking: St George's Sports Centre is located at St George's School, Sun Lane, Harpenden. The car park can be found by driving up Sun Lane, going over the bridge and turning right onto Carlton Road. The car park is on your left. There are directions to the Heather Jarvis Sports Hall in the car park. Follow the signs to the Sports Hall or Reception. It is just a short walk away.
Directions from Harpenden High Street: Turn at the mini roundabout almost opposite Charles Wilson Engineers Ltd (the big red garage) onto Sun Lane. Drive up Sun Lane over the bridge and turn right onto Carlton Road. The car park is on your left.

By Road
From M1 north, exit junction 10 and take M1 spur to junction 10A. From here take A1081 for 3 ½ miles and then turn left onto “Hollybush Lane”. Continue for another quarter mile and after the railway bridge, turn right onto “Sun Lane”. St George’s School is on the left-hand side.
From M1 south, exit junction 9 and take A5 183 towards Redbourn. After 1¾ miles, at the roundabout take first exit B487, continue for 1½ miles to next roundabout, and then turn left onto A1081 “St Albans Road”. Immediately after the railway bridge, turn left onto “Carlton Road” and at the end of the road, turn right onto “Sun Lane”. St George’s School is on the right-hand side.
From A1(M), exit junction 4 and take A1 129. At the roundabout, take first exit B197 and at the next roundabout, take B653. Continue for 5¾ miles, turn left onto B652 “Station Road” and turn first right onto “Coldharbour Lane”. After 300 yards, turn left onto “Ox Lane” and after ½ mile, turn left onto “Sun Lane”. St George’s School is on the left-hand side.

Harpenden Railway Station is a 10-minute walk.
